CFE is a local business tax most businesses in France have to pay. The tax office published the information about the amounts due to be paid this year today – head over to your professional account on impots.gouv.fr to check yours!
If you have registered your business in 2025, you do not have to pay anything – and you will not have a document in your account. However, you should received your initial declaration in paper form by post shortly – you need to fill it out and send back to you local tax office by the 31st of December. You can also download the form online. If you have changed your business address during 2025 you also need to fill out and file this form.
